Bereavement Services

When you lose someone you love, the new vacancy in your life brings a range of unwanted feelings that vary from anger and resentment to despair, guilt and even relief. |
Though all of these feelings are a normal part of the grieving process, going through that process often marks the most difficult time of our lives.
At CarePartners Bereavement, we believe that people who are grieving can benefit from the support of others. When you lack support, grief can go unaddressed and unresolved. Our services are designed to help grievers find the support they need, when they need it most.
Support from Licensed Grief Counselors and Specialists
We offer support in a variety of ways:
- Individual grief counseling
- Grief education classes – a six-week program (day and evening) that offers insights and strategies on managing your grief
- Good Grief support groups – ongoing weekly meetings (day and evening), guided by a simple idea: the work of grief can be made lighter when we help others and let others help us
- Grief Choir – explore the healing effects of music and community, lead by our Music Therapists (meets weekly)
- Monthly newsletter – anyone in the U.S. can receive our newsletter, Grief’s Companion; just call to be added to our mailing list or read the latest issue here
- Semi-annual memorial services – a non-denominational program that honors those who have left our lives and acknowledges the loss we feel, with live original arrangements from our Music Therapy department
- Kids Path Bereavement Program – individual grief counseling, group programs and sessions held at schools and our children’s bereavement center for children ages 5 to 17
- Other special groups and workshops are announced throughout the year in our newsletter, and specialized grief groups are formed as needs arise
